Worship Readiness: Taught by the Minister to Children and Their Families, this class uses a special curriculum designated to prepare 1st Graders for active participation in corporate worship. Six session held during the Sunday School hour throughout the school year include: The Bulletin: When We Do What We Do and Why; Baptism: Washen' in the Water; Time for Stories: The Church's Calendar; Eat, Drink, Remember: The Lord's Supper; In Jesus' Words: the Lord's Prayer; and Where in the World: Sanctuary Exploration.

Bible Presentation: Personalized Bibles are presented in worship each fall to children beginning their 3rd grade year of school. Access to the stories of the Faith is essential for disciples of all ages, thus Bibles that are a modern translation written for a third grade reading level are given.
Bible Exploration: Once children receive their own Bibles, this special curriculum is thought by the children's pastor, Dr. Jule Nyhuis, in various Sunday School sessions in the fall. The sessions are designed to assist 3rd graders in knowing the basics of how to use and understand their Bibles. Books of the Bible, verse indications and general themes of scripture are covered.

Fourth Grade — Room W364
Fifth Grade — Room W355
Christian Life: Taught by children's pastor, Dr. Jule Nyhuis
Sixth Grade — Room W350

Confirmands participate in weekly Sunday School which uses the United Methodist confirmation curriculum: Claim the Name. The entire study is designed to ready confirmands to make their own public profession journey in a fun-filled time of meaning in which adult mentors and one another offer support and fellowship.
